We’re making things easier for you by sending your prescriptions electronically to your pharmacy, ready for you to collect your medicines.

All you have to do to start using the electronic prescription service is choose which pharmacy to collect your prescriptions from. Just let the receptionists know which pharmacy you would like your prescriptions to go to or ask your pharmacist.

During this pandemic our telephone lines are extremely busy and we would advise not to order prescriptions by phone if you can use one of the above methods. This will keep phone lines clear for patients in need of medical assistance.

Practice Charter

consultationWe strive to give all patients the best experience possible as well as high quality healthcare.

To help things run smoothly we ask that patients:

  • Let us know if they cannot keep an appointment so we can offer it to someone else.
  • Telephone between 11:00 and 15:00 for repeat prescriptions and test results.
  • Only request a home visit if you are housebound or unable to get to the surgery due to a medical condition.
  • Telephone before 10.30am for home visits.
  • Understand we will not tolerate violent or abusive behaviour.  Anyone verbally abusing either a member of staff or the public, or using inappropriate language will be asked to leave the practice and requested to find another GP.  Anyone who is violent or causes damage will be removed from the list with immediate effect.
  • Remember they are registered with the practice not an individual doctor.  This means we will make every effort to allow you to see the healthcare professional of your choice but at certain times this may mean waiting longer to get an appointment.

Removing patients from the list

Patients will be removed from the list in the following circumstances:

  • Violence and aggression
  • Damage to practice property or equipment
  • Change of residence to outside of the practice area
  • Persistent misuse of the system
  • Patients who the doctors are unable to manage clinically eg breach of contract with the doctor regarding use of prescribed medication.
